Milk Grass

A Russian emigrant living in Germany returns to his hometown in the early 2030s after recurring dreams of his father and the realization he can still leave Russia despite ongoing war with an unnamed country. Back home, he confronts a country transformed, the buried memory of his mother’s death, and the resurfacing image of the “milk grass” he had forced out of his mind.
